After helping to organize the first Startup Weekend Conejo Valley, Greg Monterrosa embarked on an entrepreneurial journey of discovery in France and the United Kingdom.

 In four months, he mentored at Startup Weekend Paris Makers Edition, Startup Weekend Bourdoux, and Startup Weekend Lyon. He visited 24 co-work spaces, 15 startup accelerators, and 10 venture capitalists, mentoring more than 100 start-up's along the way. Greg shared with us the highlights of his trip, what he learned about entrepreneurship in Europe, and what European entrepreneurs think about California startup communities. Startup Weekend Bordeaux

So here I am from sunny Los Angeles to beautiful Bordeaux, France. I volunteered to be a mentor for their Startup Weekend Bordeaux this past May 15-17 2015. 

The event was held at Kedge Business School, what a beautiful campus. From the moment you walk in your eyes cant help but explore. Huge respect for BEM-Bordeux Management School and Marseille based Euromed Management for building an amazing campus.

Friday night kicked off with greetings and welcomes from the organizing team everyone greeted us with smiles from the moment we walked in.
